MANILA, Philippines – Within hours after a truck plowed into a resort in Nice, France, killing at least 70 people, netizens turned to social media to express shock and grief at the latest attack to hit France.

On Twitter, the hashtag #PrayForNice was a top trending topic worldwide and in the Philippines.
