Among these features in testing is the ability to live stream their gameplay to YouTube. The streams will be viewable on both YouTube and YouTube Gaming.

Users will also be able to directly share video clips to Twitter, though these videos have a maximum length of 10 seconds.

Gamers looking for more online storage space will also be pleased, as the beta is also testing increased online storage capacity from 1GB to 10GB for PlayStation Plus Members.

Social features include a hub for game-based events and official broadcasts, the ability to create communities based around shared interests, a tweak to the Friends app that will let users quickly access groups of people rather than individuals, and the ability to send stickers to friends, much like a messaging app in a phone or tablet.

Depending on the testing, some of these features may not see release after the beta, but here's to hoping we see some big improvements and additions to the PlayStation 4 user experience in the future.– Rappler.com
